About the Author
Beatrice Heuser is Professor of at the University of the German Federal Armed Forces, Munich. Michael Howard is a Professor of Military and Naval History at Yale University. Peter Paret is Professor Emeritus of Modern European History at the Institute of Advance Studies, Princeton.
